UPLOADING FILE REQUIRMENTS There is a 100MB limit on all files uploaded. If your file is bigger than 100MB it will appear to upload but in fact we will not receive the file. So please keep the files under the limit. VIDEO: We can use almost any video type including MOV, AVI, WMV, MPG1, MPG2, DivX and FLV. All videos uploaded have a 100MB file size limit, which is about a 5-8 min video. The best format is MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format 320x240 resolution, MP3 audio, 30 frames per second. AUDIO: The best audio file type is MP3, we also accept AIFF and WAVE. PICTURES: The best photograph file format is JPEG . GIF is the format to use for line art, illustrations with large areas of solid color and crisp detail, and text. Also, if you want to export an animated image, you must use GIF. Any other format can be converted but may loose quality. TEXT: We accept .TXT, .DOC or .PDF for text documents. We use Microsoft Word, Notepad and Adobe Reader. |
UPLOADING TIME Depending on your connection speed and the size of the file, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours to upload a video. Generally, if you have a high-speed Internet connection you can expect the upload to take somewhere between 1-5 minutes for every 1MB. However, the experience is different for every user because of the variation in connection speeds. The submit button stays light grey while uploading and you will know upload is done when the "thank you" page clicks on. |
